Moonbeam Art Therapy
Art Therapy
with Clancy
A one-on-one creative counselling experience supporting emotional expression, healing, and personal growth. (small groups also available)
Through process-based artmaking, somatic awareness, and gentle conversation, you’ll explore your inner landscape and reconnect with your authentic self. Sessions are attuned to your needs and may include a variety of mediums such as painting, clay, collage, weaving, nature materials, play therapy, or spontaneous creative expression.
Rooted in attachment theory, neuroscience, somatic practice, and trauma-informed care, this work is strengths-based and relational. Art offers a pathway to the subconscious and supports nervous system regulation, resilience, and self-understanding.
Ideal for: stress, anxiety, trauma recovery, grief, life transitions, self-exploration, and nervous system healing.
Sessions are available for children, teens, and adults at Infinity Wellness in Nelson. Group offerings are also available.
Additional modalities such as meditation, hypnotherapy, Reiki, infrared light therapy, PEMF/crystal mat sessions, and other somatic tools may be integrated when appropriate.

Clancy Moonbeam FitzGerald (born on a full moon to back-to-the-lander parents) is a certified Art Therapist, and member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA). She is a lifelong artist, certified Reiki practitioner, and a certified hypnotist. Clancy is warm and relational, with attuned sensitivities. She has been a meditation devotee for decades, and is deeply committed to integrative healing and wellness on all levels. She knows what it is like to be a highly sensitive person in today’s world, and brings that understanding to her work with the community.
Clancy brings over 15 years of experience facilitating art-based groups for children, and in recent years for adults as well, in Nelson, BC. With professional training in Art Therapy, hypnotherapy, Reiki, and meditation, she weaves together the threads of neuropsychology, metaphysics, eco-art, and intuitive art-making to guide creative healing and personal growth.
As a mother of two (aged 15 and 20), Clancy brings warmth, lived experience, and expertise in attachment theory into every session. Her approach is anti-oppressive, person-centered, and informed by relational neuroscience, offering deep compassion and a curious, kind, and inspiring nature.
Clancy has also explored her own inner work extensively, including breathwork, EFT, family constellations, EMDR, and many other therapeutic and spiritual practices. With over 20 years of personal meditation experience, she believes in the innate strength, wisdom, and creative potential within each person and enjoys guiding others in accessing this inner resource.
She is an artist and the author of two books: a spiritual wellness guidebook for children and a personal memoir, reflecting her dedication to sharing creative and transformative practices with a wider audience.
Clancy creates spaces that are both structured and fluid, where art, movement, and mindfulness support emotional expression, nervous system regulation, and authentic connection.
Her practice, Moonbeam Art Therapy, offers individual and group Art Therapy, creative workshops, expressive process groups, therapeutic circles, and integrative healing sessions. Clancy holds a trauma-informed lens and draws upon a wide range of therapeutic frameworks, including attachment theory, client-centered, cognitive behavioural, play therapy, expressive arts, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness approaches.
This is your sanctuary—no art experience is necessary. Clancy is committed to honoring each individual’s innate wisdom, creating a safe, nurturing space for growth and healing. Together, we will take pause, delve into our inner world, and cultivate the potential for rich transformation, integrating the experiences and cycles of our lives and remembering our wholeness and infinite potential.
